Pralines of Prescott is
a family-owned homemade candy shoppe in historic downtown Prescott, Arizona. We have been serving Prescott and it's surrounding areas
since 1991 with fresh, quality homemade candy. Currently three generations run the store: Mary (mother/grandmother),
Irene (daughter/mother), and Ashley (grandaughter/daughter).
In September 2008 we moved to our fourth, and
final, location in Prescott! We are located off of Gurley Street on the third floor of Bashford
Courts Atrium Mall, Suite #307. In years past, our commercial kitchen had to be in a separate location. Now our kitchen is
combined with our store, so we make everything on site. Now all the aromas that were once kept locked in the kitchen
are defused throughout the store!

Did you
know that most chocolates sold in candy, grocery, department, and drug stores are weeks, even months old? It's true. They
may even taste fresh because of the additives and preservatives, but boxed chocolates are made in volume, packaged and
shipped to your local store. There the chocolates remain until you buy it...hoping for the fresh, melt-in-your-mouth taste
you should expect.
Speaking of melt-in-your-mouth, have you noticed how candy doesn't melt like it used to?
That's because of all the added wax...wax that not only thins the chocolate coating, but allows the manufacturer to use
less real chocolate.
Well, fresh is best and chocolate is no exception. The chocolates, toffee, pralines,
fudge, and caramels found in the candy cases of Pralines of Prescott are made fresh. There is no added wax or preservatives
(We don't have to, the candy sells as fast as we make it!). So try fresh and you'll agree. There is a difference.
